5 mint leaves
2 fl oz white rum
1 fl oz fresh mandarin juice
½ fl oz fresh lime juice
½ fl oz simple syrup, optional
- Lightly muddle the mint in a cocktail shaker.
- Add in the rum, mandarin juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake 8-10 times.
- Straight mixture into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with club soda.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and mandarin wheel.
For simple syrup: To make simple syrup, bring 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water together in a small saucepan and heat on medium heat until clear and melted. Remove from heat let cool for 10-15 Store in a mason jar or air tight container for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator
